How long will my order take?

You should allow up to a week for us to engrave and dispatch your order once we have received your payment, but we will let you know if it will take longer. Although very often it will be quicker than a week, we cannot guarantee this, especially if we do not hold stock of your item. If you do need an order quickly, please contact us to find out if we are able to provide your order quicker.

How much is postage?

For all orders over £200, postage is free. Postage is also free on pet tags and standard flat funeral plates and boat signs.

All other items cost £ 2.95 (Band A) or £ 4.95 (Band B) for Royal Mail First Class postage. If you require express delivery, an additional £ 4.95 is charged. Please add express delivery at checkout. Note that 'Express' is for delivery only, and it may still take up to two weeks to dispatch your order. We use a Royal Mail Next Day Delivery or APC Overnight for our express delivery option, and these services do not include delivery on a Saturday.

The postage rate is shown in the item description. If no postage rate is shown, the rate is Band B. If multiple Band A items are chosen, the Band B rate will usually apply after 4 items. If orders have multiple postage options, the highest postage rate will apply.

Our delivery options usually take 1 to 2 days to reach you once dispatched, however we cannot guarantee this.

What if my order is out of stock?

We will email you to notify you if your order is out of stock and will give you an estimated delivery date.

Can I collect my order?

Yes, but please contact us first to arrange a time. We are based near Dorchester in Dorset.

What will the layout of my engraving be?

At checkout, specify the text you require on your item in the Engraving fields. If you would like your text laid out in a specific way, include this in the Special Instructions field, otherwise we will use our extensive experience and discretion for the layout.

Are you able to engrave photos?

Unfortunately we are unablel to engrave photos at this time.

Why is there a limit to the number of characters that can be engraved on a product?

When you order an item, you will be asked to enter the text you would like engraved. If you want more than the maximum number of characters allowed, contact us to check if the amount of text you want is possible. Note that when you add your text to be engraved to your order, you may see that the characters <br> have been added. This is added to show us where you have added a line break and <br> will not be engraved.

I do not want to enable cookies or I am having issues ordering online?

Please email us details of your order and we will process your order manually. We will email you an invoice for payment.

Can you suggest some appropriate words to have engraved for a gift?

What payment options do you have?

At present we only accept payment by bank transfer, paypal, PAYM or cheque via the website. Unfortunately we are not currently able to accept payment via credit card. Please make your cheque payable to Martin Dare Engraving.

Is your payments system secure?

We use paypal which is a standard payments system. Data on our website is securely encrypted using AES encryption.

I can't find the product I'm looking for. Do you have any other items?

I can't find the centre I'm looking for to customise my award. Do you have any other centres?

Yes, please contact us telling us the type of centre you require as we do have other centres and can supply centres customised with your own logo or text.
